Thailand Holiday Packages - Thailand's Best Places to Go In

Thailand is probably Asia's most famous tourist destination. The friendliness of the people and the somewhat hedonistic lifestyle of the country have made Thailand a much-frequented holiday destination for backpackers and regular tourists. Thailand's natural beauty is also one of the reasons why people often flock to this country and the picturesque landscapes have made it famous around the world. Also, some of Thailand's crowded markets have also become favorite tourist spots for guests as well as locals. If you want to visit Thailand here are a few places that you shouldn't miss visiting:
Bangkok
Bangkok is a vibrant and populous city, and for guests who are on their first trip to Thailand Bangkok is their first stop. The overcrowded streets of Bangkok might not fancy some tourists that prefer solitude and serenity for their vacation, but if you want to immerse yourself into Thailand's culture then you definitely should explore Bangkok. There are dozens of interesting places here such as the Grand Palace, which is literally covered with jewels, to see some memorabilia of the royal family of Thailand. Or you could go to Patpong (night market), which is quite famous (or infamous) among locals and tourists. This market does not only peddle their dirt-cheap but-sometimes-quality products, but they also showcase women for hire because prostitution is legal in Thailand. If that's not your cup of tea then perhaps you should visit the Wat Po where you could see the world's largest reclining Buddha.
The Floating Market
You should also visit the Floating Market, which is located at the Damneon Saduak Canal. This market was made famous in a classic James Bond Film. In the film "The Man with the Golden Gun" producers shot some of the scenes in this beautiful market. Here tourists can get to see how merchants sold their products to customers before Thailand entered the modern world. It's quite a unique experience shopping here because you would have to flag down a seller on a wooden boat to see what he has to offer. And most of these sellers have loads of products on their long boats which is truly amazing to see them balance on their boats while haggling with the customers.
Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is the opposite of Bangkok. The former is much calmer as compared to the latter and tourists will have a more peaceful trip to the former, which is considered to be a spiritual city by the locals. Chiang Mai is filled with temples and you could see each one of them on their daily tours. You could also visit the craft shops here and when you're done shopping for jewelry or trinkets there are lots of restaurants here that serve traditional Thailand dishes.
San Kamphaeng Hot Springs
After Chiang Mai you might want to drop by San Kamphaeng. This location is only 36km from Chiang Mai and it is also a favorite tourist destination due to their famous hot springs. The hot springs of San Kamphaeng is situated on a 40 acre land that is landscaped beautifully. The hot springs are said to have restorative properties and they might be able to help people with arthritis. A lot of tourists have come here to bathe in the hot springs, which has a temperature of over 100 degrees Centigrade and is rich in sulfur. So even if you don't want to bathe in the hot springs they could have other uses for you like boiling some eggs.
